Taking Care of your Saroyan Zils<\/em><\/strong>

Always make sure your zils are dry before storing them.  Leaving makeup or sweat on the metal, accelerates tarnish.  Tarnish or patina (oxidation) is a natural process that darkens the metal. Taking<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some people like the tarnished look, others prefer their zils brightly polished.  It is simply a personal preference.  If corrosion is occurring (pitting or divots), clean with metal polish to stop the corrosion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you spill a sports drink (like Gatorade) clean and dry your zils immediately.\u00a0 Remove the elastics if they were wet. Sports drinks do ugly things to raw metal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
